Stay Human celebrates Halloween with the biggest in-game event since launch

Dying Light 2: Stay Human has been out for a while now. The game has gone through various updates throughout its post-market life. This includes the new DLC, like the Bloody Ties story expansion, in a few weeks. Either way, it’s October and Techland is bringing a new Halloween event to players from today until November 4th.

The All Hallow’s Eve update puts players in a Halloween variation of The City, with plenty of new daily and weekly bounties, free rewards, and global goals bringing the entire survivor community together around treat collection. Here’s a trailer that explains what you can expect in Dying Light 2: Stay Human

These treats serve as both collectibles and event currency. Treats allow players to take their collection to Baka the ill-fated, a unique Seasonal Agent, for various new items. These effects include things like visually changing the game to a monochrome palette or making Aiden jump higher, for example.

The All Hallow’s Eve event also includes special daily and weekly bounties throughout the event that give leaderboard points as rewards. These rank points will allow players to unlock special Halloween-themed masks. Some of the in-game content throughout the event will be World Objectives, as noted above. These objectives, when completed, will reward players with the Jack’O Mask and the Dying Laugh Charm.

In this regard, a unique bundle will be available on digital storefronts on November 3, 2022. The Dying Laugh bundle will include a clown-themed costume, a new weapon, and a Halloween-themed paraglider skin for free. This pack will be available to all players who use it before November 10 (the launch of the Bloody Ties DLC).

Finally, on the Bloody Ties DLC, Techland is giving players the new Rais Commando outfit to anyone who owns the game or pre-orders it before November 10. You can claim the item from Techland’s websitebut remember that he won’t appear in the game until the Bloody Ties DLC is released.

We will continue to update as more information about Dying Light 2: Stay Human is released. Dying Light 2 Stay Human is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Techland’s own storefront.
