The 47th San Diego Highland Scottish Games return this year in person on June 25-26 and will kick off with the age-old legends of Scotland told by local storytellers on the evening of June 24 at Brengle Terrace Park in Vista.

San Diego’s favorite storytellers will take the stage to tell tales of misty moors, ancient feuds, valiant clans and Highland spirits as they bring legends of the Highlands and Lowlands of Scotland to life in their presentation annual “Tales and Legends of Scotland”.

Featured performers from San Diego Storytellers include James Nelson-Lucas, Aunt Li-Anne, Mindy Donner and Marilyn McPhie who will entertain with traditional storytelling. New to this scene is Lissette Ryan, who mixes her storytelling with tunes on her harp. Rachel Amov, the Gypsy Fiddler, will weave stories into her music.
