Planning for the Highland Games 2022 is underway

Take off your kilt and shine your dancing shoes. After two years of announcing the sad news that the Glengarry Highland Games have been canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Games are today delighted to announce that planning has begun for a full version of its highly anticipated event. to be held on July 29 and 30, 2022.

All planning for 73e Games edition will be done according to guidelines established by the Eastern Ontario Health Unit. With that in mind, plans may change, but the Games are hopeful that the gates to the Kenyon Agricultural Fair in Maxville will be opened and that a full range of events, competitors and artists will be there to welcome everyone. to a reunion and celebration that we all wanted.

Games President Eric Metcalfe said: “I look forward to welcoming everyone to the 73rd Glengarry Highland Games. We all missed this amazing celebration of our Scottish heritage and it’s time to come together and Glengarry is ready to celebrate! Our committees will be working hard over the next few months and we will be ready to welcome all competitors, participants and visitors.
