“NEW IN-GAME EVENT – THE BLOCK PARTY – NOW LIVE IN ROCKET LEAGUE®”


 

SAN DIEGO – October 12, 2022 – Psyonix, the San Diego-based video game developer, has announced that The Block Party, a new in-game event, is now live in rocket league until October 18. This event spotlights the Hoops game mode and features a new arena, event challenges, and rewards.


 

The Block Party includes:


 

  • New arena – For the first time since the release of Hoops Extra Mode, a new Hoops Arena named “The Block” is now available.

  • Event challenges and Awards – There are six in-game challenges to earn rewards, including the new Anthem Game Time Player and the animated Double Dribble Topper.

  • Take control of in-game tournaments – Hoops will take control of the Competitive Extra Mode Tournament slot in-game for the duration of the event.
