Huawei to Promote AppGallery and GameCenter at Nordic Game Event

Huawei is preparing to present itself during Nordic Gaming, an exhibition and conference dedicated to the gaming industry in Eastern and Central Nordic Europe. The event will take place at Slagthuset in Malmö, Sweden from May 17-2.

The central idea behind Huawei’s participation in the event is to show how AppGallery and Huawei’s growing gaming hub – GameCenter can provide a new opportunity to expand the user base of game developers. The event will also be a platform for experts to discuss from simple onboarding processes to how to promote your game on Huawei platforms with accurate listings.

With gaming being one of the fastest growing areas and one of the best performing categories on AppGallery, some of the industry’s leading global content developers are now reaching the platform’s 580 million global monthly active users (45 million in Europe, +7% year-over-year growth) with new and existing gaming apps.

Activities:

  • Dr. Jaime Gonzalo, Vice President of Consumer Mobile Services at Huawei will be on the conference roster, delivering a presentation on Effective Ways to Market Games on AppGallery, featuring real-world success stories from game companies popular.
  • Huawei will also welcome Outfit7, a global game developer behind the award-winning Talking Tom & Friends series and its highly anticipated RPG Mythic Legends, to the stage to describe their experiences working with AppGallery since joining the platform.
  • At its booth (10B), Huawei’s dedicated team will provide invited developers with an overview of growth opportunities, the benefits of the Huawei Ads program for games and details on how Huawei facilitates simple technical integration for developers. .
  • Huawei is also the sponsor of the Best Nordic Game of the Year – Small Screen award category as part of the Nordic Game Awards (May 19, 6:00 p.m. CEST).

“We are very happy to be part of the Nordic Game community again. We understand how developers, caught up in their passion for their art, can sometimes face reality when it proves difficult to acquire and retain gaming customers. We listened to them and delivered a simple, relatively low-effort solution that capitalizes on a new, untapped channel to reach a high-value active user market in the tens of millions,” said said Dr. Jaime Gonzalo, Vice President Consumer Mobile Services Europe at Huawei.

“We have prepared this event with these game developers in mind and so we invite and welcome new and existing developer partners to speak to our experts and better understand how we can work together to grow their businesses,” he added. .
