Helensburgh and Lomond Highland Games: date, time, location and road restrictions

BIG crowds are expected in Helensburgh this Saturday for the return of the Helensburgh and Lomond Highland Games – but people are being warned that a number of road restrictions will be in place near the venue that day.

After a two-year absence due to the pandemic, the 2022 Games will take place at their usual home – the grounds of Helensburgh Rugby Club in Ardencaple – on Saturday June 4.

The Games start at 10 a.m. and run until 5 p.m. with track and heavyweight athletics, Highland dancing, live entertainment, food and craft stalls and more.

There will be no public parking at the Games site itself, but a free shuttle bus will run throughout the day, picking you up from Maitland Street opposite Helensburgh Central Station and dropping you off in Ardencaple.
